The Sound Thinking Charter

When working in partnership with you, the Sound Thinking Team aims to provide:

•  Specialised support from a well qualified and motivated team
•  A high quality professional and confidential service
•  Clear unbiased, up to date and evidence based information and recommendations
•  Written report and / or programmes within two weeks of the assessment, unless agreed otherwise
•  A practical solution based problem solving methodology
•  An individualised approach tailored to client's needs

We aim to understand and promote children and young people's development and to provide practical recommendations which can be readily implemented by parents and educational establishments alike.
The Sound Thinking Team are experienced with working with children and young people with varying needs:Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Social Communication Needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Complex Generalised Learning Needs or Physical, Social and Emotional Difficulties.

We are able to provide joint or individual assessments, interventions and consultation based on our extensive experience and knowledge. This includes a highly specialist Developmental Language Disorder diagnostic service. The Sound Thinking team are registered practitioners with the Health and Care Professional Council, have enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks and Professional
Indemnity Insurance.
