I have now just bought into the Sound Thinking service as we found the support she gave invaluable. Julia has many skills as an Educational Psychologist and many skills that go beyond this. She would give us an insight into a child that we often didn't see. Julia was skilled at identifying many different skills and areas of need a child has, that as a school we were unable to assess. Her support for teachers was always extremely useful. Julia managed to offer support to experience teacher that was meaningful and worthwhile. This is a balance that I feel many psychologists don't achieve. Julia is very skilled at managing difficult situations. We have always found Julia to be professional and completely dedicated to supporting pupils in their education

I just want to thank you for everything you have done for Jordan. You have quickly understood him, and how to handle him, and never pushed things, or allowed others to push him. He is now a completely different child to how he was and so much happier. So thanks again Julia; the day we met you, we found the help we so desperately needed. After years of struggling with him and banging our heads against a brick wall, it was such a relief. Other professionals wanted an exact diagnosis or a label to attach to him, but you saw him and accepted him, purely as a child who could not cope with the situations school was forcing him into. Having stepped in when you did, I truly believe that the impact on his life, and his overall well being has been so positive.
